What exactly does a life coach do?

So many people are afraid that life coaching is a scam.

I mean, the profession of life coaching isn’t something that a lot of us grew up knowing about.

Before I hired my first coach back in 2013, I was like, “This sounds intriguing, but what exactly does a life coach do, how can they help me?”

The best way I can describe it:

We all know what a soccer coach does, but how does a life coach work?

Well, it’s pretty much the same, actually.

They teach your kids how to play soccer.
They teach them the rules of the game.
They give them specific exercises to practice and hone their skills—helping them get better and better at playing soccer.
Soccer coaches take your kids from knowing nothing or very little about the game of soccer to becoming soccer players.

I, specifically, teach you how to get organized.
I teach you the rules of the game of creating an organized life.
I give you specific exercises to practice and hone your skills—helping you get better and better at life and at organizing.
I take you from knowing nothing or very little about how to get organized to becoming an organized person.

So, think of me as the youth soccer coach for your life.
