I catch myself doing this / trying to do this all the time….

“If I buy this dress, I will be a more beautiful and interesting person.”

Nope. Not really.

Even last week, I bought a new blouse and now I’m questioning my motives:

Did I really believe I needed that new top so I wouldn’t have to do laundry as often?
